Located high in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina, just 7/10 mile off great Smoky Mountains Expressway (Hwy 23/74) and 2 miles from the Balsam Mountain entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.....tucked away on a private, wooded ridge shaded by old hickory trees, oaks, and graceful Hemlocks.
We are in the middle of the mountains!!! Maggie Valley and Waynesville about 15 miles to the east...Cherokee and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park about 20 miles to the north...Dillsboro and the railroad about 12 miles to the west.
Rooms are cozy and rustic with thick cozy quilts, some with rich pine paneled walls and all with private baths. The lodges Great Room invites guests to relax in front of our imposing stone fireplace...curl up with a good book, play a board game, assemble a jigsaw puzzle or just meet some of the friendly folks who are our guests and new-found friends.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 9:30 A.M. in the dining area. Enjoy a steamy cup of coffee, juice, and breakfast, while sitting in the lodge or take your breakfast onto the porch or picnic area at the edge of the woods.
Wine and cheese is served from 4:30 until 6:00 P.M. |

visit in the Spring, when the dogwoods and mountain Laurel and the lacy pale greens adorn
the woods... or during the lush deep green of summer, when the days are warm, but the
nights are cool.... or come stay with us when the quiet, white snow blankets our mountain
ridge, and you can truly appreciate the warmth and crackle of the fireplace...or best of
all....come experience the brilliant reds, golds, and oranges of fall!!!

RATES:
$75 dollars (couples) per night and slightly higher in season and holidays.
Rates include full or continental breakfast.
Advanced deposit of one nights lodging required at the time of reservation.
Deposit is applied to last days stay.
Deposit is refundable with 10 days notice.
All prices are subject to Jackson County taxes.
Personal checks, MasterCard, Visa and American Express are welcome.
Check-in time is from 2pm. until 6pm. Please call ahead if you will be arriving at another time.
Check out time is at 10:00 am.
Children are most welcome, and one room is available for pets.
For the comfort of our guests, there is no smoking inside the lodge.
